A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Balisha...Patricia?

I feel that I should clear something up. When I first started blogging...I was so apprehensive about putting anything personal on my blog. Even my real name. I noticed that other bloggers had nicknames for their kids, they used the initials DH for their husbands, some didn't show their faces, all to protect themselves. I decided to use my nickname...Balisha and not my real one...Patricia. I have been called Balisha since Joe and I got married. He calls me that...a favorite nickname of his. He always rhymes names...you know...Patricia, Balisha. I really love the name and so I thought that I would simply be known as Balisha while on my blog. It has stuck and many of you "know" me by that name. Today, Joe and I did a guest post on Judy's facebook page. You can read it by clicking on her blog http://southernlady64.wordpress.com/ She asked if she could use my real name. I told her that it was OK with me. I just felt that I should "come clean" about my name at this time. I really hope that you all will still call me Balisha...because I love it.
Patricia... otherwise known as Balisha

I like both your names but you will probably remain Balisha to me because that is what you were when I met you. I am still skeptical at times about using the names but I guess I have not had any problems so far. Thanks again for the post yesterday. I had over 400 hits from facebook on your post on the blog. Facebook people just will not take the time to leave a comment but they always look at the posts everyday. Now, if I can just get Margie or Ernestine to do one! lol.

Balisha, enjoyed the recipe on Judy's blog.
No facebook for me. I do good to have my "journal" and respond to my comments :)

It pays to be a little apprehensive now a days anyway. At list Joe did not rhyme your name like my Grandpa did me and my female cousin as Dude & Rude. LOL!
