A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

A Tiny Mushroom

When my daughter was here on Sunday, she looked at my geraniums that I had grown from seeds. She noticed the tiny little mushroom (toadstool?) growing in the pot. I have had these, while the plants were in the basement and now they are starting up here. A perfect little mushroom. The soil is damp and I suppose that's perfect for this little plant.

Here are my geraniums ready to go outside. They are a little spindly, but I'm sure they will do well.

My vanilla marigolds are ready too. I didn't start these till late in the season, so they are kind of tiny. I will carefully put them in the soil and keep them in a protected spot. Once they are out...they will flourish, hopefully.

I was at Church all morning. There was a sign up sheet for Spring cleaning. I signed up and took my own cleaning tote and vacuum cleaner. There were 9 of us there and we cleaned the Sanctuary from ceiling to carpet. All the candle holders are washed and shiny. The pews and kneelers are polished and vacuumed. The altar furniture is polished. The speakers on the peaked ceiling are dusted. We worked till 10 and then had a coffee break. When we were finished, Father ordered a pizza and we all had a snack. Many hands make light work. It was fun, working together. The time just flew.
