Sitting here thinking about the gardening year to come.What will it bring? A wet spring with warm temperatures or snow in April? What will I be able to do? After a pretty sedentary winter...will I be able to do what I did last year? My joint pain is better during the day... will I be able to accomplish more? If not...will I be able to learn new ways to do things?What will the edge of the woods look like in early spring? Are the wildflower seeds taking hold under the snow? Will there be more color in the woods? Have I planted a banquet for some little creature?

I doesn't really help Spring to arrive earlier, but we can dream can't we?

I have some of the same thoughts.
Already know I cannot do what I did last year or year before :)
My vegetable garden will be smaller - no way am I going to buy a tomato, cucumber or squash :)
My son keeps telling me I will have to lower my standards
so guess my gardens will not be as manicured and more natural...
To dream of spring...can't wait to be able to plant some beautiful flowers once again!
I was just walking around the backyard this afternoon, planning on what would go where and how I would change it up a bit. I think I will start some seeds in the house this year. I did that a few years ago and not only enjoyed the process but had good luck with them.

I will have to dig the dead plants out of my garden box and planters after spring finally arrives. All the dead plants are still there.
