A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Imagination

In My Imagination, by Balisha

In my imagination the world would be..
A beautiful garden for all to see.
You'd enter by using a gate with a creak....
A cobblestone path is the only street.
There'd be benches with seats so comfy and nice..
People would sit there as long as they'd like.
The gardens are tended by folks with gray hair..
They'd stoop and they'd kneel without any care.
No aches and no pains or failing eyes.
The sun would shine from Heaven's skies.
A special place for children to go..
A garden for them where dan dee lions grow.
They'd pick bouquets and laugh and play..
There'd be time to visit with old folks on the way.
To the valley where lilies grow at our feet..
Their little bells would smell so sweet.
The Lady's Mantle would be there too..
And Violets there that would be oh so blue.
The Buttercups could grow and not be contained..
Little toads would hide there whenever it rained.
My garden would be a peaceful place..
For people of colors and every race.
There'd be no more trouble and no more strife..
A world of love for everyone's life.
A little walk down the path of stone..
Would take us to what we could call home.
A  cottage with Ivy and Geraniums too...
Window boxes overflowing with Petunias in hues..
Of reds and pinks and yellow too.
The colors would blend like never before.
Hummingbirds, Cardinals and Sparrows and more..
Would fill the air with bird song so sweet..
And tiny chipmunks would scamper at our feet.
Oh, I can just see this in my tousled gray head...
As I work this morning in my garden bed.
If we each do our part to make the world nice..
We would all get along and never think twice.
About hating and fighting....it could work if we start..
To take care of our neighbors and just do our part.
To make this world a better place..
A pretty world for the whole human race.

I think we shall be in that garden one day--with all our loved ones...because the place you describe must be Heaven.
