It's my grandson's 16th birthday today. Collin has grown up so fast. Seems like only yesterday, he was carrying a little sprinkling can and watering my garden. He will go for his driver's license and has a job lined up as a lifeguard this summer.
Here we all are minus my daughter...eating at a favorite restaurant. The restaurant only had apple pie for dessert...so we made a caravan with our cars and went (Grandma's idea) to the near by Chicken Dip for ice cream sundaes.

Sometimes, family get together's are the most difficult. You keep looking around for the missing member and then catch yourself and realize.....but--life goes on and we go on with it. We have to...for all the others.
