Monthly Garden Bouquet for September 2010

I can't believe how fast time flies. It seems only yesterday that I was scrounging around the yard looking for something to make my monthly garden bouquet. I was really having a hard time. This month was a little easier with the mums blooming. I added the one piece of Eucalyptus and the two ivy stems from the house..The white Haeger vase was a find this summer. Noelle at http://www.azplantlady.com/ is the hostess of this fun project. Her arrangements are always full of color. I have learned so much from this lady...about landscaping, color use in the garden, and now bouquets. She tells about things going on in her family as well. Why don't you click on her address and go over to see what others have done this month. Or, better yet...why not join us and put together a simple bouquet?

Balisha, those dark maroon mums are gorgeous but I'm curious, what is the plant that looks like it has berries on it. They're quite lovely.

That turned out really nice. I enjoyed seeing what you put together.

Hi Margurite...
Thanks for coming to see my bouquet. The little clusters of seeds are the seeds from the Blackberry Lily. The lily is called this because the seeds look like blackberries. I have some if you would like me to send them to you.

Hi Barbee...thanks for stopping by today. I hope that you are doing well and that the weather is getting cooler where you are. Fall is here and there is a lot to do before winter. Take care, Balisha

Your bouquet is lovely. I don't know about you but I find that sedum make a long lasting cut flower.

Hello Balisha,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I do enjoy mixing some of my personal like with that of my garden when I blog.....much like you do :-)

Your bouquet is just lovely as always. I like the tall vase and how it 'lifts' your bouquet up high. Thank you again for participating :-)
