I searched and searched and couldn't find a 4th of July picture better than this one. I think that I used the cake last year, but not my son. He may give me a hard time about this, but I'm getting old and you have to give in to "old ladies"...This was taken a couple of years ago. He surprised us with this beautiful dessert...made by him.
I want to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. Have fun with family, neighbors, friends, pets, or just sitting on the porch...and enjoying the warm weather and remembering years gone by. It's a wonderful day for our country. Be safe...don't burn your fingers on those sparklers!

Happy 4th of July Balisha!
The 4th of July is also a significant day in Philippine history. In 1946, Philippines gained its independence from the United States. We now remember 4th of July as Filipino-American Friendship Day... :D
