Ode to the GreenTomato by Balisha
Tomatoes growing in my yard...still green on bushes growing..
I watch you in all kinds of weather...and when the wind is blowing.
The sun is much to hot for me...I water then I leave...
To go inside and get relief and a drink that's fresh for me.
I'm waiting for you to turn red and ripe ...I'll pick you then I know.
A sandwich is what I have in mind...I'll be patient while you grow.

Ahhhh, that's so cute! Yes, it surely is hot! Might could fry some bacon on the pavement.
I am amazed that you have tomatoes so big in June.
My favorite is a tomato sandwich, too.
I also like a nice fried geen tomato now and then.
Ah, I'm waiting for the tomatoes too. My daughter has more then enough for me too.
Yum, my favorite a BLT! My tomato plants look great right now, even some green ones on my Celebrity. I am hoping for a good tomato summer.
