A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Thanksgiving Day

Our Thanksgiving was really nice. We went to my son's house in Bartlett. He is married to a gal named Renee..He got a bonus when they married...a couple of grandsons. This little guy, Jordan, was the center of attention on this holiday. He is walking and starting to talk. He was so entertaining at the table. A very neat eater, who was more interested in what was going on around him, that the delicious food that his Grandma had prepared.  I got a series of photos...not thinking about writing my Thanksgiving post about him. He has such intense eyes. He is like a sponge...picking up words and repeating them. He learned to say Grandma on Thanksgiving day. Called his Grandma on the phone to show her how he could say it.

Who's that lady with the camera?
I guess she's OK...guess I'll have a drink.
I want to get down...now!
Ahhhh....cupcakes, my favorite. This chocolate frosting is great.
Are you going to keep taking pictures of me? Why don't you eat a cupcake?
We had a wonderful day with them. I wish that our whole family could have been there, but times change and we have to go with the flow. I was thinking about what to have for breakfast...wish I had taken them up on bringing home some turkey...a turkey sandwich sure would have tasted great.
Do you know where Joe is? Black Friday shopping!!! He's a glutton for punishment.
