A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Good Golly Miss Molly

We are taking care of the pup across the street for the next week. They did a favor for Joe when he first got home from the hospital and this is our way to repay them. Little did we know that it would be so much fun. When I went to feed her this morning...her little eyes just begged me to bring her home. (I'm such a softy) She was here last evening as well. It's been so long since we've had a dog in the house. She has perfect manners and is such a joy to take care of. When one of us sits down...she just hops up in our lap. Right now she is looking up at me and if she could talk, I'm sure she would say, "How can you be on the computer, when I'm here to play?" Isn't she the cutest?

She is a cutie! We don't have a dog anymore, but I sure do enjoy our "granddog" coming for a visit. She is a sweet golden retreiver named Allie. I just love her!

I'd say it is time for a new baby in your house. Go ahead just do it, they are so much comfort and company. I don't think I will ever be without a dog in the house again!!! As I always say "Enjoy, lifes to short."

Balisha..she is beyong cute! What a little doggie doll!!!
One of my best friends, the one I found on facebook..remember her? Well, she just got a new puppy. She is our age but alone now. She got a little Doxie..and cannot wait to get her home next week. She also sent me photo's. Puppies are so cute!
Mele is laying her at my feet..and like that little dog is either under my feet or in my lap.
She was probably very lonely over there without her family. Isn't it nice to have good neighbors?
Balisha...maybe you and Joe should have puppy?! :)

About the ants. Yes...I tell you, if I could I would let them have it as they seem so determined.
This morning I went out to the street and cut back the perennials and found they were totally infested at the roots with ants. It made me sick. I was wondering why the plants looked so sick. Now I know!
I had no idea ants could be so destructive!
So...here I am on a lovely Sunday morning, with my first cup of coffee and the "big guns" sitting on the porch ready to go. I am at this every day, it seems, and today is...day four or five. No matter. The ant war wages on!
Have a beautiful Sunday, Balisha!! My best to Joe!
Hugs,
Mona

Sooooo darn cute! How are you going to give her back?
Too bad I don't want a dog. I really do like them, I like animals actually....but I have 2 cats and I LOVE their independence. I love other people's dogs, but I'm told it's like having another child when you get a dog. I like going away for a few days at a time, and with cats, you can. I'm told dogs...no.
She is sweet, tho.

That is just the cutest dog ever! I know you are going to get so attached before your neighbors get back. Guess you will have to bring her over for visits in the future. Hope you have a good week.

Well, Miss Molly is getting more comments than my other posts do :)
She is so sweet and well behaved. We really don't want another dog. Hard to get so attached (we treat them like family) and then have to go through illness with them... and have to maybe put them to sleep. We've done that a couple of times and it is so hard on we puppy lovers. I think that we will be top on their list of people to leave her with. They are a very busy couple and are on the go. She adapts so easily and we can maybe be her "caregivers across the street" Balisha

Well, (yes, I KNOW this is my second comment! ) I think it's an ideal situation. She is there...but you don't have full responsibility for her..however my sweet caring friend, when this little Sweetheart has anything at all go wrong with her...from now on..you will be emotionally involved. In life you can't escape when you are as caring as you and Joe. :)
Hugs!!!
