Now this is a TOMATO....a beefsteak. Can you see them there??These teensy, tiny, seedlings may grow into huge tomato producing plants. The big producer...I once heard someone say.
Here is what it will look like when fully grown. My Dad always grew Beefsteaks, so they have been around for a long time. He loved showing off his big tomatoes. One slice would fit on a huge slice of Mom's homemade bread. We used to eat bread and tomato sandwiches...maybe with a dab of mayonnaise....fresh out of the garden and warm from the sun. Oh, gosh, I'm about to drool. I learned, late in life, to never put tomatoes in the refrigerator. They get watery and lose their flavor.
Well, now that I have everyone salivating....I have to go downstairs and do some indoor gardening. Have a great day...wherever you are.

I have about 12 flats of vegies and flowers going right now. I hope they do well this year...I propogated some of my geraniums from last year, I always take a few in each winter.Have a great weekend!
It is amazing when you think about it what a tiny seed can grow up to be.Home grown tomatoes sounds good now doesn't it LOL! Your geraniums are looking good.
Good Morning,
I've never been brave enough to try to grow geraniums from seeds. Just love that you can tell they are geraniums already. How long do you think it will be before they bloom?
That geranium is a pretty color.
Too bad we have to wait so long for our first tomatoes.

What a gorgeous, bright colour those geraniums are! They are hardy, heat resistant, consistent bloomers for me, making them one of my faves for containers. :)
Hi Ballisha, All you new paint looks so fresh and nice on your yard items. My mother thought it was a sin to put a tomato in the refrigerator! She used to keep them in the kitchen window all summer and on a spare table. A big ripe tomato sure would be good right now. You are so lucky to have a place to grow stuff indoors.
I have not started any seeds indoors this year, although I do have a few cuttings of my favorite plants taken last fall, that are doing their thing downstairs.
I have never thought of starting geraniums from seed, perhaps I should give it a try.
I love these geraniums. We treat them as winter annuals here in the desert. They generally do not like our hot, dry summers. So, I will enjoy seeing yours this summer :-)
hi...i just found you and signed on to follow. i love gardening and can't wait to see what you do!
I have never started seeds inside.
Not a proper place. The geraniums are beautiful and you make me long for a home grown tomato
