A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Did the Easter Bunny Pay a Visit With His Paintbrush?

Kind of looks like the Easter bunny paid a visit to my yard yesterday. I got busy with my paint cans and brushes and headed outside. The weather was just the kind of day I needed to get some painting done. This year the pastels appealed to me. My decision to paint my little chair a light shade of purple turned out just as I wanted it. My garden has lots of purples and pinks...and then there's that clump of orange lilies...so this will blend right in. I may put a pot of geraniums on my little purple chair. All my metal things got a fresh coat of white paint. They really show up in the woods and are a perfect accent for my statues.

Now you can't tell it, but this birdhouse is pale shade of aqua. These birdhouses have been just natural. We left them that way to attract the bluebirds. Well, the bluebirds look at them and then just go on their way. Maybe they will prefer this shade of blue.

The painting is all finished for the season ahead. The Adirondack chair is painted white and the paint is curing in the basement. We will bring it up next week and at that time I will "do" the front porch. Spring is here and the birds will be picking out their houses...I hope they choose mine.

You have been busy getting ready for Spring. The Rhubarb looks nice and fresh.

The veg. orchestra was clever.

Good morning Balisha. I have two old ice cream parlor chairs that need a coat of paint too. I've been wondering whether to go with white of something more lively.

All your newly-painted ornaments look so nice, fresh, and springy Balisha! The colors are soft, sweet, and pretty. I love pastels.

Thank you for your comment on my post this morning. Blogger did something weird shortly after I published, and the post and your comment were unfortunately lost. I had to start from scratch and re-do the post. My apologies for losing your comment!

The blue birds will like the new paint job on the house. Love your little chair Balisha. It will look beautiful with the pinks and oranges.

The Easter bunny did a great job sprucing up your yard. Everything looks darling. Now if only spring would get here and stay here. Blessings.

Hi...Thanks to everyone for reading and taking the time to comment. My yard is just about ready for the "big show" Spring. It's like getting ready for an open house. We hope that things are pleasing to others walking by. Most of all, it gives us a sense of accomplishment and something to do to keep limber and healthy.
