Now this one I remember, because I planted them all by myself. These are the geraniums. I didn't realize how long it would take for a geranium to bloom until I ordered the seeds...It will be the middle of summer before they bloom. Maybe it will be earlier than that, if I'm lucky. Nothing so exciting to me...in the garden world than taking a teeny tiny seed, drop it in some starting mix, and in a week or so...a tiny green leaf pops up. 
Here are the rest of the geraniums. Can't you just visualize a big pot of beautiful lavender geraniums...with those leaves that we all love...sitting on my front porch? Even if they didn't bloom...the leaves are beautiful. I love their fragrance too. When I work with geraniums...pulling off the dead leaves or cutting a dead flower off...the smell on my hands is one that I like.
I just read Lona's post at http://lonadawn.blogspot.com/ about the Ohio Garden Show. It sounds lovely. I know that we will be treated to some beautiful pictures from her...to get us all in the spirit of Spring. Until tomorrow....

Yeah! Surprise flowers. Always the best kind. I have mine labeled and still get them mixed up. LOL! It is good to see something growing anyway. I cannot wait to get away from this snow girl and to the Garden Show. Maybe I can talk my daughter into running (or driving) me to the Conservatory that day and have a whole day of flowers.
Sounds good to me anyway. ;-)

I am so glad to see something sprouting! Now that reminds me of spring, warm weather, and flowers peeking their heads out. I just love your poem about the garden spot. That is really a good one. We had a wind chill of 15 this morning but at least the sun has been shining. I am beginning to have hope! Have a good weekend.
I thought it weird that I would forget if they were forget me knots or not.We got interrupted and then forgot which were which...when it came time to label.

Hi, so glad you came over for a visit. I like seeing green. Spring will be here soon.
I didn't label any of my seeds started last year. For the most part they were easy to sort out, except the tomatoes and peppers since I started so many different varieties. The element of surprise was kind of fun, but we ended up with more jalapenos and less Italian peppers than I wanted.
Over the summer I saved popsicle sticks (Popsicles were on the menu for a couple of solid food fasts before medical tests.) I'm putting those popsicle sticks to good use now, labeling my seedlings. We still have several jars of pickled jalepenos in the fridge, so this year I'm aiming for more sweet peppers! ;)
I have had some labeling disasters in the past, so now I write my label and put it in the tray first!
Great to see your seedlings comming along, always a welcome sight at this time of year.
