A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Jesus Has Arrived!

Joe has been working on a big project since last fall. Countless hours have been spent researching, phone calls, finding the best people to work with, architects plans, meetings etc. The project is a big one...He is building a Grotto to be a gift to our Church. I will post pictures as they break ground and start to build...as soon as Spring comes. He ordered a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from Italy. It arrived yesterday. We have been anxiously awaiting this moment. He went to Rockford to pick up the statue yesterday. He called and told me they were on their way. I saw the pickup truck out the window and hurried to get my coat. I went out just in time to see the truck, with Jesus in the passenger seat, his seat belt on. I wondered to myself...what did people think when they saw Jesus riding in a truck? They opened the door and put him on a dolly. I had to take a couple of pictures. He's in our garage right now. Father Nnaso came last night to see this long awaited statue. He was so happy to see this important piece of the Grotto. Work will begin as soon as the frost is out of the ground. My part will be the choosing of plants for the gardens around the Grotto. I will probably be there to help with the planting too. We'll choose two trees...one for either side of the site. I'll post an architects rendition of the Grotto soon. Things are finally coming together. Jesus has arrived.
