A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Santa Comes to St. Mary's

Santa came to St. Mary's today. I went over to pick up my dish and the front entryway was filled with gifts. So many that I had to go back home to get my camera.
Some of the people in our Parish may be having a tough time this year, but you wouldn't know it from the stacks of presents for others.

It was a steady stream of people, coming in with bags of gifts. They were all wrapped so beautifully. One for everyone whose name was on the tree.

They will need a delivery truck and lots of helpers...to deliver them. I would imagine that they will enlist the youth of our Church to help out.

I left my package and thought about all the joy these gifts will bring. We are the only Church to sponsor a nursing home in our area. Those old folks will be so surprised on the day of their party. It made me feel good to just see all the generosity shown here.

How wonderful to see so many generous people at this time of the year. It's especially kind of everyone to include a nursing home.

It is a blessing to see people so giving at Christmas, it will make the people at the nursing home feel loved and wanted. God bless your wonderful church, they have captured the spirit of Christmas, giving. I enjoyed all of the photos and yes there were a lot of gifts. Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Don't you just love all those bright colors in the beautiful display?! I would love to be a little bug in the room when they have their party so I could watch all the happiness.
