The pumpkin seeds were planted...you've heard this tale before..
My tiny gardening friend was knocking at the door.
Can we plant seeds today, in my yard there is no room?
A flower pot was found and planted very soon.
Each day the seeds were watered and one day there was a shout..
Awesome, was the word she used when they began to sprout.
The vines are growing happily now, in my flower bed..
I thought of them last night, vines were dancing in my head.
I dreamed the vines had grown to overtake the yard..
In dreams my thoughts can multiply, it's not so very hard.
I woke this morning with a start and hurried to look out..
The vines were quite happy and not scrambling about.
I breathed a sigh and had a thought..I wondered how much longer..
They would be content to stay and not begin to wander.
I think that they will grow by leaps and bounds to climb..
The porch and all it's railings and really look sublime.
My little neighbor will be thrilled the first pumpkin she will spy..
Her little garden in a pot...the very first for her to try.

Awesome is just the right word, there is just something about planting a seed and watching it grow .. I can't wait to see your wee pumpkins :)
I just love those little pumpkins. They are so cute and they make great decorations for Fall.My internet service has been so slow the last two weeks. It must bee all of the kiddos home from school ;-) Have a wonderful weekend Balisha.
I do hope that we get a pumpkin or two out of these. She and I have been taking good care of them. I will probably have to buy some, so I can use them in decorations. I like to hollow them out and use them as vases.Hope you both have a great weekend too.
I like your wee pumpkins. They will make lovely fall decorations. Hope you have a great weekend.

The stems look a llittle weak to hold pumpkins. I don't know how these will turn out. I may have to sneak a couple in the pot and say..."Oh, look!"
