A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Very cold here this morning. It is a bright sunny day though, so it isn't so bad. I was hoping for a warmer day...sometime soon. I have a couple of things to do yet in the yard. I have a birdbath that I bring in and a small table. Then there are some things in the garden to cover with mulch. I hope that I get it done.

I have been concentrating more on inside the house and have kind of let things go...that should have been done already. My houseplants needed some attention. I have been trying to find some orchid medium. It seems that no one carries it around here. They sell the orchids, but not what you plant them in. I have a couple of dendrobiums, that I bought at the grocery. They are putting out some new growth...so I guess they will live. I know nothing about them and have been learning on the Internet. One of my problems is that I can't stand to see a dry plant...I want to keep it watered. I have to pull myself away from them with the watering can. I found a place to buy the medium online...so I bought that and some pots and plant food. This cost more that the orchids. Maybe I should stick with a nice philodendron. LOL Hopefully they will thrive. I am having a problem with where to keep them. Does anyone grow them? Any tips?

What lovely orchids, I am afraid I have no advice, I have never grown them.

I am just the opposite. I forget to water and then I will look at a plant and think what is wrong with it??? I have never grown orchids either.
