A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Flu shots and Voting

I don't usually tell people how I vote, but this is a most important year to cast our ballots and here is my choice.
It's beautiful here today. Warmer and sunny. We decided to get our flu shots this morning. We went to the Forest Preserve and no waiting line. It was so nice out...I suggested going for a drive and eating breakfast at a restaurant we like a few miles down the river road. We were in the town where we could cast our ballots early for the election...so we did that. No lines...easy to do. We cancelled each other out on the vote and came home a couple of hours later LOL. Now we have the garage to tackle and I am going to plant some bulbs by our new mailbox. So that's it for today.

I, too, am voting for Obama next Tuesday. Kentucky will go for McCain but my chidren and I will be voting for Obama. I got my flu shot a couple weeks ago. I get one every year, too.

Balisha, We do think alike! My husband and I will be cancelling each other's vote as well.

Sorry I haven't been by to visit for awhile; I've been busy and have kept up with only a few blogs. I enjoyed your signs of a severe winter from the Farmers' Almanac. I've never noticed pigs gathering sticks either:) But I have noticed so many acorns this year--oh dear!

Hi,
I'm going to write my last words on politics in a few minutes.
