A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Pop of Red

Here she is just opening. This is going to be some amaryllis...well worth the wait. I love pops of red in my decorating and this is perfect.

Gorgeous. Red is especially welcome in January.

This is a beauty and I love how the petals are outlined in white.

How pretty! I am a failure at many plants including this one. Love the red!

It's just beautiful, Balisha! I remember you saying you took your plants to the basement in cold weather. This one must be up near a bright window now.
I hope all is well with you and Joe. I'm afraid that PH is slowing way down and it worries me.

I do keep plants in the basement where it is heated...but not as warm as upstairs. I have cut way down on my plants down there...Keeping them all in one or two places upstairs...saves me so much work. I didn't bring any plants in to spend the winter this year.Cutting down on my plant care gives me more time to do other things.
I do always have an amaryllis. I love watching them grow and then the vibrant colors.
