A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Snowdrops...Tiny Nubs of Green

Tiny Nub of Green by Balisha

Little nub of not quite green peaking up at me.
I planted you in fall so late, beneath the tall birch tree.
The statue of our Lady is standing just behind..
I wanted flowers there for her...and snowdrops came to mind.
Snowdrops nodding in the breeze.. flowers of white so pure..
A perfect flower, in a mass, right in front of her.
So wait my little nub of green.. for winter to be done..
Your blooming time will come in Spring, when the earth is warmed by sun.

What a lovely poem you've today. We are having a strange winter here. I still have pink geraniums blooming on my porch as the pots are off the ground and under cover of the porch roof.
