A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Little Chippy in the Woods

Little Chippy in the woods.. left a little treat...
He found a little nesting box that was so very neat.
He put his little treasure there.. for me to find today...
He guards our fine tomato plants in his very special way.
He sits on top of garden stakes and looks out everywhere...
He keeps marauders out of here.. to them he warns beware!
This little chippy is our guard  most every day and night...
His reward is really very small...just a tiny bite :)

Great photo Balisha. They never sit still long enough for me to snap one.

What a sweet poem. They are sooo cute, but WHAT a nuisance. They have just about eaten us out of everything. Right now the squirrels are playing havoc on our property ... I've never seen so many before in all our years.

I didn't receive your note, my friend. Of course, we can stay in touch. I am sorry you are going thru these issues also.

Today is a very blurry day. Hope yours is wonderful.

HI Amber, Margie, Eileen, and Marydon,

These little guys are so cute, but I know full well what a pest they can be. i don't tell about them uprooting my Christmas cactus or eating the tomato that Joe was just waiting to eat. They are so full of mischief and if we had a lot of them...it might be a different story I'd tell.

Looks like a pretty squirrel to me as we do not have them here.
