A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

New Readers...Welcome

Good Morning...

I see by the comments that I have two new followers. I love having new people read and leave comments. It makes my day. Some bloggers write posts to keep track of their gardens from week to week. Some enjoy writing about nature. Some fill in the "pages" with recipes and family events. Some share their views about faith, politics, new books, and current events. Some love to decorate and change their "look" from time to time. My blog is a combination of all of these things. When I sit down to do a post....I sometimes have no plan in mind.....then something happens, I get a comment that gives me an idea of what to write. My poems are written as I sit here, most of the time. I compose them right here at my desk, as I do a post. I don't write posts ahead of time...my mind just takes over and I write what I am feeling at that very moment. I take pictures and save them. I put up pictures and then write about them. I don't spend a lot of time writing my posts, but I come here several times a day to read other blogs.....especially in the winter. This blogging thing is something that I love to do. I encourage anyone who is reading...if you think that you might like to do a blog...I would say, "Go for it." You may find that makes you more interested in what is going on around you. You'll see something and say, "I want to blog about that." In comparing my first posts and the ones I do now....Now I put more detail into them and my photos are better, if something interests me...I know that there are others who might be interested too. I have learned so much about gardening, books, faith, prayer, friendship, decorating...I can't forget I have found great recipes too...and the list goes on and on. I consider you my friends...though we may never meet.....I can "feel" your warmth and caring through your posts and comments. So, if you think that you might like to blog...try it...I think you'll like it. I always love new readers...especially if they leave a comment. I want to welcome you and tell you that I will come to your blog for a visit this afternoon....and for some of you who read and never leave a comment. I welcome you too....I can feel you here, when I am putting up a new post. I know that so many more are reading than I'll ever realize and you are so welcome here.

All the grandkids sure looked like they were having fun. We did alot of grazing also,we always take too much food when we camp. I always make funnel cakes one night and this year it was 2 nights!!!LOL They call me the "Carnival Lady"!

Yes I agree with every word. We never knew when we began just what blogging would bring into our lives.
