A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Squirrel

Squirrel says," What are you doing...sitting in that chair by the door? Don't you have some housework to do?

Squirrel says," Are you going to sit there forever? Good grief a squirrel doesn't have a chance this morning. It rained buckets yesterday, and I didn't get my fill of seed. Are you sure that you don't have something better to do?"

"Goodness, Balisha, aren't you hungry? Don't you have to make breakfast? Well, I guess you aren't leaving...I'll just have to take my chances and try to eat some seed."

An hour and a half later...squirrel still there, mumbling and grumbling and emptying our feeder!

I have a squirrel in my yard with no tail. I don't know if he was born that way or it got run over or something or what. He is right comical looking and I have tried so hard to get a picture but he is too fast for me. He hops like a rabbit, too. I looked out one morning and there was several babies following him down the tree, so I guess "he" must be a "her". They all had tails though.Have a great weekend.

Those pesky little squirrels! My dog loves to watch them and chase them never even getting close.

Love your new header!

I have squirrels in my yard too. These latest ones are tiny. They must be the new crop!

Well, Miss Squirrel brought her hubby (boyfriend) over today. He's just lying on the deck rail, while she eats her fill.

Great photo shoot of the perturbed squirrel! And I too love your header! Clematis, one of my favorites.

Rescued some squirrels that fell out of their nest two years ago and after their stay at a local wildlife rehab, I released them back on my property and have been a squirrel watcher ever since!

I loved telling my students that my squirrels went to rehab!
