A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

My Post on Flowers Takes the Back Seat This Morning..

My life seemed so simple yesterday. I was planning on a post about flowers in my yard, but my mind is elsewhere this morning. We went to bed last night, after hearing our President's address about the death of Osama Bin Laden....and woke to news of celebrating around the world that this monster is dead. I wish for peace and closure for the people left without their loved ones...after 9/11. It's been such a long time coming. Our government has been working on this particular attack since August. We have been told that along with planning the attack, they were setting into place plans to step up security here in the USA. When we see a calm, cool, President Obama...we don't really know what is going on behind the scenes.. in his world. I say, "Thankyou, to all who had a part in this momentous occasion." Now, we have to be more vigilant and be watchful.

Balisha,
Have you heard from Mona and how her daughter is?

I am glad he is gone but wish we could have taken him alive.

Hi Jean...I got an email from her a little bit ago, but it was very vague and she didn't mention her daughter. I hope that she's OK. It's not like "our Mona" I hope she's back to blogging soon. Miss her. Balisha

I am glad they found him and he is gone. I fear there will be some sort of retaliation for sure. We are floating away here. Got the raft out this morning, trying to blow it up now!
