And....here are the sock monkeys almost finished. There are three for three babys. I don't have anything but the birth picture of the other little boy.
The sock monkeys are just waiting at the end of the couch for me to sit down and finish them. I have been knitting scarves and hats for them to wear. They need their facial features too. I'll have to fashion eyes of some sort...can't use buttons on baby's toys. We have three little boys who will be receiving them this year. Two new great grand children and one for another little guy. I hope to put them each in a stocking and put a gift card for Baby's R Us inside. These have been really fun to do. I have some painted things ready to go in my work area too. I like to keep my hands busy while watching TV. Knitting and doing things like this keep them limber. Our house is decorated, shopping pretty much finished, and after our family dinner here on Sunday, I hope to just be able to do some fun things and relax. I still have cards to do and all the gifts to wrap. Joe wrapped his last week and they are already under the tree. It sounds like we may have a measurable amount of snow tomorrow and Sat. morning. We just found a fellow to plow our drive...it has been on our minds, because Joe can't operate the big snow blower due to his surgery. So, it looks like we are all set for what "Ole Man Winter" dishes out. The salt trucks were salting the bridge and intersections, when I went into town this morning. Not really my favorite part of winter...but we will get what we get. It's always a surprise.

How precious! Lucky family.
Hi Balisha, I had no trouble commenting. Sorry it took me so long to get here. I have been so busy this week making cookies, shopping and such. We are supposed to get snow tonight, too. Those babies are just the cutest things I ever saw and the monkeys are too. They all just go together. lol. That food below this post looks yummy. I am sick of turkey as well. Have a good weekend.
Oh Balisha...I already know I am not going to get a single thing "made" this year. It's been a crazy time...and there is "never enough time"... the days are zooming by so fast...so fast. It is almost frightening. I remember Grandma saying how time was flying by her...and I thought.."how can she say that! It's just dragging by!
Your little sock Monkeys are wonderful... :) Always a classic!
Now I know what Grandma meant.
Hugs,
Mona
One's as cute as the other...They will be here tomorrow and our two rocking chairs stand waiting.
Thanks for checking, Judy.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Balisha
Your great grandsons are adorable Balisha! I'm sure they will cherish those sock monkeys for years to come. :)
