A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Doggy on the Table...a poem

The weather today is rather chilly..
To work outside would be so silly.
I have lots to do to keep me busy..
My head will spin it's in a tizzy.
I start my work and go get Molly..
She greets me barking and oh so jolly.
She tears in the door to go find Joe..
Her joyful bark is one we know.
Yesterday we found her able..
To jump kangaroo style up on the table.
To relax after dinner was my wish..
I heard a clinking on the dish.
I found her walking on table top..
She'd found a treasure and wouldn't stop.
I spotted her just walking around..
Eating scraps that she had found.
Today we'll clear the table quick..
The pup won't even get a lick.
Sometimes I think that Joe and I...
Are not a match for a dog so spry.
She's really good except that trick..
Of jumping up to get a lick.
Something new most every day..
When you care for a dog...who wants to play.

Molly be nimble,
Molly be quick,
Molly jumped on the table the plates betwixt.

Molly sure is a cutie pie. Your mums are just beautiful in front of your house. I had some yellow ones till last week. They finally bit the dust. We got a good rain yesterday but lots of wind here. Even did some damage in some places. I think I got more rain in one day yesterday than we had all summer! We sure needed it.
