A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

The tiny Garden Starts

This is a large pot on the west side of the house. I did the garden stake years ago and it has followed me here. I put some onion sets in the dirt and now they are up and getting ready to eat. My little neighbor said she doesn't like onions...could I plant onion rings. Hehehe! Here is a close up. The bunny is keeping watch. Audra thinks we need more bunnies. She places them in different spots around the yard. I never know where they will turn up.
My little garden gnome is a gift from my daughter. He is sitting there wondering...is this lettuce ready to eat?Why didn't she plant more? Oh...this is supposed to be an herb garden...I forgot.

I have a tomato to plant there too. A sugar snack cherry tomato. I hope to have tomatoes in bunches like grapes. Will I have enough lettuce for a BLT, when these are ripe?

Here are some herbs...still in the window. It's too cold to plant, so I will have to be patient. I planted the seeds that you see here. I think of all of you with your huge beautiful gardens....you are probably getting a chuckle out of my little patch.

There will be more later. I know you are on pins and needles just in anticipation....waiting to see the final pictures. Will I have enough to go to the farmer's market? Hmmmmm, should I plant corn???

Hi Christer,
I don't know to much about growing tomatoes from seed. I have only done it once before. My Dad always picked out small tomato plants, when he bought them. He said they did better for him and they caught up with the bigger ones as soon as they were planted.

Hi Racquel,
I do have more things growing on my window sills. Too early to put out here. More pictures later. I am only planting the one tomato plant, but my husband is doing more.
