A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

A 2nd Post for Saturday...A Rather Blustery Day

I was out bringing in things from the front porch, when I saw the wreath swinging in the breeze. This is the wreath where the finches have made their home. The babies were swinging in the breeze also. One little guy was down between the wreath and the siding of the house. The wreath originally wasn't made to house anyone...just a decoration. If I had known that Mother Finch was going to build her nest here...I would have secured it better. We worked on the "home" with Mom and Dad watching.I kind of flipped the baby back up into the nest and secured it to the house. They had built the nest with no back..duh! Any movement could make a baby tumble out to the floor. Now the nest is secure...with a trellis behind and a thin sponge for the back of it. Babies are fine and Mom and Dad are visiting. What we don't do for our feathered friends. Next year...no nests on the front porch.

No nests on the front porch next year? It's so interesting to watch- I bet after next winter you'll change your mind!

Laughing here...that wreath will never be the same! :) How kind of you to fix that birdies nest for them. They must be first year parents. Sort of like people.. :)
Balisha...I want to thank you so very much for that recipe. I have a feeling you went to some trouble to find it for me..and that...well..thank you! I am going to try it...I know it probably sounds awful to some..but I am just curious enough to do it.
My daughter in law makes chocolate bread pudding at the bakery..and I never miss out on having it when I visit.
I am afraid my little blog is getting away from me..so if I am late getting back to you sometimes..please understand. I posted NOTHING on Friday..and lots of people stopped by...goodness. I have seen people with HUNDREDS of follower and just do not see how anyone can do it. I can't.
I was peddling as fast as I could when there were 6 followers...hmmm..this could become exhausting...
I have things I must do. I cannot sit at this blamed computer all day nor do I want to. LOL
So..I am off to the nursery..
Hugs to you for that recipe. When I get to it..probably the middle of the week..I will take pictures and send you a piece in the mail! Naw...just kidding! :)

Hi Mona...
They took all the flowers out...so I just stuck these in any which way and left most out of the arrangement.
I found the recipe in about a minute.
I agree with you...how do people reply to so many? Don't ever worry about answering me...I understand.
Hi Laura...
We said the same thing last year, but when those tiny creatures come up on the porch with their little mouths crammed...we just melt and let them build where they want to. When they are done the wreath will be washed and done completely over.
