A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

The temperature is 46 degrees this morning. The snow is losing it's moisture and looks dimpled on our property. Spring is waiting in the curtains for her turn. We still have more winter, but we can see the end coming. Here is a little poem that I wrote last night.
Winter is Ending....by Balisha
Winter is ending and spring is in sight.
Coming home from dinner the sky was still light..
I thought I would check on my blog once again,
And read a few comments left by some friends.
Reading my favorites always gives me some pleasure..
Some words about gardening for me to treasure.
But tonight was different as I read through a few..
Some bloggers it seemed didn't have a clue.
"What should we write about?" Exclaimed everyone..
"Our gardens are sleeping and it's not as much fun."
Cooking and crafts and pets came to mind..
They were wracking their brains only to find..
That nothing was there..nothing much new..
The gardeners it seemed were all in a stew.
I got an idea..it came to me then..
We had such a short time to wait until when,
The gardens would soon need our loving care..
So just have patience we soon will be there..
Digging and planting and getting sore knees.
Gardeners hold on just a bit longer please.
We will have more to write about that we will have time..
Our husbands and children will just wait in a line.
We'll have to get busy and get out of doors..
Spring's on it's way and we all will have chores.
So, continue to blog and tell us your news...
Before long you know, you'll have mud on your shoes.
