A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Early Morning at our House

Good morning. I awoke at 4AM when the phone rang...I hate that....No one there. Back to sleep and we heard our Laddie retching on the love seat in our bedroom. Up and out of bed to help the dog and clean up. Back to bed and 30 min. later it happened again. Same routine. I tried to sleep...hubby decided to read and the room was bright. That was our awakening today. I went in a started the coffee and got a simple breakfast around. Sat in my rocker, by the glass doors and watched the tufted titmouse, cardinal pair, finches, woodpeckers, and juncos having their feast. After breakfast, here I am. Ready for the day.

We have been discussing when to decorate for Christmas. Hubby wants to do it this weekend. I felt that we have been in such an upheaval for the past two weeks...why not just relax and enjoy the weekend? I would like to decorate after Thanksgiving. As I sit here...he is down in his little recording studio singing White Christmas, O Holy Night (my favorite)and Away in a Manger. Is he telling me something? How can we not decorate this weekend? Now he's singing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Gotta go....where did we put that tinsel?

What a way to wake up this morning. Poor dog, hope he or she's okay. We usually put up our decorations the day after Thanksgiving each year. Sounds like your hubby is in the holiday spirit now. ;)

Hi Racquel....The dog is barking right now, because he's being fed. I guess he's OK. The tree still isn't up...we are tired, because of the early morning....maybe tomorrow.

Balisha, isn't it just grand to wake to the sound of a wretching dog? I hope he's OK... That happens around here, too.

We try to hold off our decorating until the first weekend in December. I'd like to decorate now, but I'm not ready. Gotta get through Thanksgiving first!

Nice your hubby is ready :o)

Hi Mary,
Puppy is fine today. Just a "tummy bubble." Tree isn't up....we'll see if it goes up today.
