I had to come back and tell you the exciting thing that just happened. I fixed breakfast and was looking out the patio doors to the back yard. We have a post just a ways off from the deck. There is a bird house on the top. I noticed two grayish blue birds on the top of the post. What were they? They turned and I saw the palest orange-red breast. Bluebirds....I saw bluebirds!! They were working and working trying to get in that tiny hole. Then two more came. The four were all over the house. I shouted to my husband.....bluebirds, bluebirds are here! I hadn't felt well during the night and he came running. He said...."I thought something was wrong with you!" He doesn't hear well. Sorry I scared him, but we have waited so long to see bluebirds again in our yard...I didn't want him to miss them. Why were they here? We have bluebird houses...why didn't they look them over. Hubby said, "With the world money situation...they are probably scouting out something they can afford next year."
