A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

I didn't realize how many lilies I have until I started this blog. I have so many that there are some blooming most of the time. They are so bright so there are lots of comments from the neighbors walking by. I am anxious to see the Madonna Lilies in the back yard.

A neighbor called and asked if I wanted some baby yuccas this morning. I have never been a fan of the yucca, but if I could visualize them in my yard...maybe they'd work. Most that I've seen get a little messy later on...and huge. If I could plant them farther back in the woods....but I think they need more sun. I will have to make up my mind. This is the same neighbor who offered me Calla Lilies and they turned out to be Cannas. By the way...the cannas are doing great.

I got the baby violets in the mail. They are so sweet...some are blooming. I will post a pic tomorrow.

I did some tidy work along the edge of the woods yesterday. It looks much better. You can actually see the flowers from the house. The clematis vines are doing better back there than the ones in front. More sun.

Well, hubby is holding an old WWII movie. Guess I will go watch with him. It is almost 4 hrs. Yikes. We watched some film on Pearl Harbor...(actual footage,) last night. During the night I dreamed that a blimp with camouflage was coming directly at our house. We fled the garage and flew off the deck with the dog. I really get into a movie.

That is so funny that the finches build their nest behind your light fixture. The robins like to build nest in my hanging planters that I have attached to the shed. :)
