A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

A thought for the day: Half the interest of a garden is in the constant exercise of the imagination.

This is really true for me. I spend hours planning what I will plant in the spring. I draw diagrams with colored pencils. Pick out color schemes. Check my notes from previous years as to what did well in the garden. I think that gardeners are always looking forward to "next year" I start saying... almost at the onset of a new year, "Next year I will plant this, or move this, or divide this." We have "faith" that next year will come and that we can make it more beautiful. I have always loved the hymn, "This is My Father's World" I think that it is my job to keep my part of the world beautiful. If we all did that.....WOW....just imagine!

I almost jumped when I read this post of yours! This Is My Father's World has been my favorite hymn ever since I was a tiny child going to Sunbeams and G.A.'s at church. What a small world.
