A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Nurse's Hands

I found this today at a blog I visit often.  http://barbarathehealthynut.blogspot.com/  It's National Nurse's Week starting May 6th. She posted this today and I thought of all those precious hands taking care of my son today. Just my way to say my thanks for their gentle care.

Nurses’ Hands

Blessed be these hands that have touched life.
Blessed be these hands that have felt pain.
Blessed be these hands that have embraced with compassion.
Blessed be these hands that have been clinched with anger or withdrawn in fear.

Blessed be these hands that have drawn blood and administered medicine.
Blessed be these hands that have cleaned beds and disposed of wastes.
Blessed be these hands that have anointed the sick and offered blessings.
Blessed be these hands that grow stiff with age.
Blessed be these hands that have comforted the dying and held the dead.
Blessed be these hands, we hold the future in these hands.
Blessed be our hands for they are the work of Your hands, O Holy One.

Here from Mona's blog, my heart goes out to you. God Bless and I will keep you all in prayer. I do know the Lord answers all prayers, we have had his miracles in our family, believe for yours too. Hugs, Marty

Bless the hands of those caring for your son today. May they touch him gently in his need, whatever it might be. Peace be with you.

Nurses--they are the real people that keep our loved one's alive--all during the day and night. They are the real workers and care givers. Blessed be their hands and blessings go out to them and your son. Praying every day.

I prayed for an angel to sit on the edge of his bed and stroke his forehead with healing touch. I think an angel could appear in the guise of a nurse, don't you.

What a lovely tribute..I understand. I am holding Tim in God's healing light! It's all I have to offer but how I wish I could do more, if I could just FIX it! And I cannot. I am thinking of you..sending you love.

So true, Balisha. We are all indebted to the wonderful, smart, caring nurses in this world.

I'm continuing to hope and pray that your son recovers soon.

XO,
Jane

I came over from Mona's blog and I'm offering a prayer tonight for your son. I don't know the whole story, but when someone is in need sometimes all that can be done is prayer. I know God is listening. I hope you have some peace and comfort tonight. The poem is so lovely...I'm in nursing..I work in surgery as a surgical technician and will share this poem next week for our nurses week celebration.

Your son, you, and your family continue to be in my prayers.

The poem about nurses was wonderful. My daughter is going to college for her BSRN. She will get to start working with actual patients for the first time this coming week. She's excited to be at this point in her studies. I'm going to share the poem you posted with her. I know she will be touched by it. I was.
