A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Will It Snow or Won't It?

Plans for lunch a little over an hour away today...
Last night's weather forecast...maybe 6 inches of snow for tomorrow.
Wondered what to do.
Should I call the lunch off now...or wait till morning and decide?
Didn't want friends to have to wait till morning.
They could make other plans.
More indecision.
Called one of the gals and asked what she thought.
She didn't want to drive either. We decided to cancel...neither of us wanted to chance it since we had long drives.
Called the third gal...she sounded a little put out.
She lives in the town where we were going to meet.
She doesn't have to drive that far.
Decision made and now I sit here....watching for flakes.
I hope the weatherman is right this time.
I'm doing the snow dance.
Didn't think I would ever do that...after last winter.
Balisha

Guess we made the right decision to cancel. It started snowing soon after noon....and started with a vengeance...huge flakes. The ground was covered in a matter of minutes. It looked like someone was dumping feather pillows from heaven.

Hope that the snow doesn't cause too much chaos with your plans. It's been 16 degrees C here today - a really lovely English spring day! Jx

So sorry about your snow. I'm done with winter and ready to move on towards spring, but I suppose it's probably not done with us yet.

You did the right thing, Balisha. No sense getting into a mess with your car. Stay in and enjoy the warmth.
