A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

This Morning...

I've been trying to make up two more books of my blog this morning. I had a problem ...because the comments were not included, so I would have to start over. It would be very time consuming. Thought that I would give my mind a rest and post something here about it. Do you ever start something and have a problem of some sort...and just walk away for a little while? It's like doing a crossword puzzle...have a word that stumps you....leave it for a bit....come back later and you can figure it out. I have always done this in my life....I have a problem and instead of stressing myself about it...I'll just wait for sometimes a day or two and have look at it again and figure out what to do. It's so much easier to look at something with a "fresh eye and mind" than to get in a dither about it. Problem solving.... Effective problem-solvers tend to monitor their progress as they work towards a solution. If they are not making fast and good progress toward reaching their goal, they sometimes reevaluate their approach or look for new ways to accomplish the answers. As I was making the books this morning...I had many choices to select from. The color of the cover, pictures for the cover...front and back, tribute page, text, posts with or without pictures, final page etc. I had worked on it for over an hour and a half...and then found my mistake. I'm going to tackle this later today. I already have three volumes made up of my most everyday posts. I had so many pictures that I had to make these into three volumes. Now, two years later, I have to make up two volumes. I want them to all look alike...a set. I'm doing this, so that I don't lose my posts on blogger. I have devoted so much time to my blog and want something to leave for my kids when I have to stop blogging. I think that I will continue this until my fingers won't work or my eyes give out. I'm never afraid of repeating myself...I figure if it enters my thought process twice...it's something that is important enough to me...to post again.
Today is absolutely beautiful. I'm going out a little later to take some pictures. There must be something coming up in my yard besides snowdrops and daffodils. People are walking by and looking warmer that the last couple of days. The birds are flying to and from the feeders. Spring is coming...and I want to breathe some fresh air. I'll tackle the book when I'm fresh.

I thought of doing the same thing.

I wrote all my universtity essays in exactly the same way... I'd write a large chunk well before the deadline, leave it for a couple of days then re-write it and add a conclusion. Generally it worked quite well!!! Jx

I have used Blog2Print in the past, however, yesterday I spent quite a bit of time and couldn't get their website to work. Very frustrating. They were to email me today...to see if we could figure it out, but so far no email. I have three beautiful books that I made up a couple of years ago...I wanted to put the next two years into a book or two. If I can get it to work...I'll put some information here. Balisha

I usually have to hang in there until I finally get it right or it totally beats me.

I'm intrigued. How can you turn your blog into a book. I would love to do that but with well over 600 posts, how in earth??

I would love to make my blog into a book also, have seen the Blog2Print ad, but thought it would be too much $$$. I would hate to think of losing everything that I have written, even if much of it is dribble! Someday, I would think that my great great grandkids would like to read it! I problem solve the same way, walk away, but usually long after frustration sets in unfortunately.
