A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

The First Snowfall

Picture taken last year just when winter started. A winter that I'll never forget full of snow that lasted so long... from that very first snowfall. When will it come this year? How much will we get? How long will it last? Questions that have no answers. We just have to be patient and wait. First Snow by Balisha

I'm standing in my little house, beside a window small..
I see the day that lies ahead..a day when snow might fall.
The clouds that gather in the sky, are telling me this day..
My comfy house will be so warm...a cozy place to stay.
Looking out I see the first of many flakes to fall..
Big and puffy come at first and then they change to small.
The wind blows fierce and little birds are trying to take flight..
If this keeps up my world of green will turn a snowy white.
I'll stand here by my window and work throughout the day..
And go to bed tonight and dream of yesterday.
When morning comes and I awake and come to window small..
I'll look and see a world so white from that very first snowfall.

Same here, we had heavy snow well before now last year but has been real mild this year though they now have snow in Scotland.
