A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Snowy Morning Thoughts from Balisha and Joe

Joe...."Open the blinds Balisha and let's see how much snow we got. Oh Lord, look at that mess out there. There's nothing good about snow. Roads are slippery, people are cooped up in their homes, people get in accidents, people die, old people have to figure out how to move the cotton pickin' stuff, backs go out, the village dumps the snow at the bottom of the drive, dogs feet freeze up.
Balisha..."Oh Joe, just look at it...it's beautiful. It's Saturday and people are home from work and school, they can stay in their jammies all day, board games, hot chocolate with marshmallows, snowmen, snow angels, hot soup, snowball fights, kids all bundled up, red noses and cheeks.........."
Joe..."Balisha...you are such a romantic."

Looks like you a 'glass half full' kind of gal. :)

It's lovely all right but I'm glad you got it and not me.

I am dreading the snow this year.

But you have a great attitude about it.

I think that I am a "glass half full kind of person." It's so much easier than always grousing about something.I do love the coziness of snow. Now on the other hand....I'm not always a happy camper when it keeps me from celebrating Christmas with my family like it did a couple of years ago.For the most part I love winter...I always liked to paint winter things.
