A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

See No Evil....

Here they are all finished. They took quite a long time to make. I hope the babies like them. I have always made gifts for Christmas. I used to do crafty things and then I started knitting. I remember one year, it was quite a while ago ...when my grand daughter's were very small. I got this fuschia pink yarn and knit them hats with pom poms and scarves to match. The hats were really big...made with a bulky yarn. They opened the gift and without really looking at them...put them aside to look for the fun gift..a toy. I could tell that they didn't really like the hats. They seldom wore hats outside...I always wanted to keep little kids warm. Ask my son, John, he tells about being dressed so warm that he was stiff and couldn't bend over to make a snowball. The girls wore the hats to humor me...once...but I never saw them again. I've learned to make simple things that people will like. My daughter's poncho is a story for another time.

They should be named: Cute, Cuter, and Cutest! How did you decide to do the eyes? I enlarged the photo but my screen is on its last legs, so I still couldn't tell. Are they embroidered?

I really like the way they turned out. I used buttons for the eyes.I sewed them on really well and will tell the Mom's and Dad's to take them off if they are worried. I just couldn't get the eyes right with embroidery. Balisha

Those monkeys are just the cutest things. I love them. I don't know what child wouldn't. Like you, I want to bundle up children. My grandson leaves here with no hat on and has tubes in his ears and ear infections a lot. Drives me crazy! Your decorations both inside and out are just beautiful. I love the ducks on the mantle, too. I think those babies will love the monkeys.
