Well, it's that time of the month again...Christmas Garden Bouquets. Living in Northern Illinois, it was really a difficult task. I looked out at the snowy landscape and wondered what I could come up with. I really didn't want to do anything with indoor plants...I wanted to do something from my yard at this time of the year. Everything is snow covered...even my plants for "winter interest" I spotted a branch that was lying in my neighbor's yard. It had been lying there for a couple of days. "What could I do with that?" I thought. Then I got an idea from a favorite TV show of mine. It's the Charlie Brown Christmas show. A friend of mine has a Charlie Brown Christmas tree in her family room...that her grand children have decorated for years. It wouldn't be a Christmas for Nancy and Ralph without that tradition taking place. I put a few greens and part of that branch...in this little cookie tin and hung a tiny red ball on it and I call it my "Charlie Brown Christmas Garden Bouquet."
Now maybe you would like to see other creative bouquets for December. Go to Noelle's at http://www.azplantlady.com/ and see what other gardeners are doing this month. Merry Christmas to all of you who participate or just observe.

Oh Balisha,
I knew I could count on you to create the 'perfect' bouquet! I love your creativity and your bouquet is just wonderful.
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!
Balisha, as always you're very inventive and able to come up with a lovely bouquet. I too love the Charlie Brown story and the cookie tin is a perfect touch!
I admire your creativity too, Balisha. I don't have a creative bone in my body.
What fun! I love it!
Now ... I know what a Charlie Brown Christmas tree is. Can I tempt you to join in with one of my 12 days of Christmas posts?
Thanks for stopping by my garden blog for garden bouquet. Yes, I always notice you have one as well and I always love to see what you come up with. My wife loves this idea each month and it's always a surprise. Happy New Year!
