A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Monthly Garden Bouquet for June 2010

It was time to post our bouquets of the month for June. Noelle at http://www.azplantlady.com/ started this fun project a few months ago. Be sure to go there and look at all the entries. It has been a fun project. I find myself looking for different combinations and containers to use. Rain was coming and I was hurrying to get a bouquet together, when Audra came over. "Watcha doin' " was her question. "Can I help?" So the two of us hurried around the yard and got some flowers together. We picked them and brought them in the house. She suggested putting the clematis flower at the base of the container. Then she said," Take a picture of me." Here is that sweet little face with her little nose smelling the flowers.

I took her into the computer room and showed her some of the other blogger's creations from month's past. Then she thought it must be a competition...she said, "I hope we win!"

Oh Balisha,

I do love your bouquet and how wonderful that you had such a special 'helper'. You can tell her from me that your bouquet is extra special this month because she helped you with it :-)

Hello Balisha, that is a lovely bouquet with great colours. I like that beautiful deep purple clematis a lot, do you know what it's name is?

What fun I may have to try it when I get home... It is always nice to see how much stuff is blooming after being away for a week... Tom says he is watering good, I sure hope so...

I stopped by for a visit to see the lovely summer bouquet you and your helper created. It speaks of all that is summer.

Have a wonderful evening!

Yes, she certainly did win! Beautiful bouquet! Love the bright pink and dark purple combo. I have great memories of picking bouquets with my daughter and honestly never dreamed she would outgrow it. (Still reeling over this adolescence stuff. Enjoy while you can.)

Thankyou all for your lovely comments. I have to tell those of you, who haven't read my blog before...Audra is a little neighbor girl. She helps me in the garden. She was over today and asked if we won the contest for the best bouquet. I told her that we all were winners.
