A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Too Perky??

Here I am in my new haircut....Ha Ha Ha!
Yesterday was a Balisha day. I went to get my hair cut. It's very short and perky looking...if a soon to be 72 year old can look perky. Bought new makeup. Needed that for my new perky look. Hope I don't look like a clown with rosy red cheeks. Drove home through the dreary landscape and found that hubby had no comments on haircut...hmmmm too perky for him?? Sat on the couch and watched TV, while knitting on my baby afghan. Hubby went to Burger King and bought $1.00 double cheeseburgers for dinner. Went back to the couch and read the paper. Watched more TV...the telethon... and knitted some more. Then went to bed and watched Conan O'Brien's last show. Fell asleep, like a baby, and here I am this morning...still perky.

I got my hair cut on Thursday this past week and did watch Conan last night, too! She cut mine shorter than usual this time but it was driving me crazy on my neck. It is supposed to be near 60 here today! Then, cold again next week. Guess I will enjoy it while I can. Have a great weekend.

It must be something in the air - I used the same photo to get my hair cut this week. I love it short and so does the better half.
So easy to wash and air dry.

I have kept mine short and spiky for years and it does make you feel perky. I call it my 5 minute hair and my kids call it my crazy hair. As I always say life it to short not to have a little fun!!! Have fun with it Balisha! I like the new blog look, great job!!

You have to remember that I don't have a lot of hair to work with. This is my first attempt at a style and I feel so comfortable with it...I may keep it.

Lynn...the spring countdown was at the bottom of the blog. Moved there (without my knowledge) Now it's back at the top...where it should be.

OH GREAT PERKY ONE! May I have a bit of your perkiness?? I would give you some of mine IF I had any!

I need to straighten up and stop with the depression. It's silly and a waste of time...mine and yours! :) OH MY! Thanks for listening, Balisha! I feel so much better!
I love your new look on your blog, by the way.
Reading your comment on my cranky post today made me smile..and yes, I am proud of them. They are all precious to me and I am so happy that I have lived to see all that gray! (I guess. See? I'm trying! )
Hugs,
Mona

I wonder why the blockwall? I am sure Father will come up with the money. We Catholics look after our own!

Balisha, I love the new look of your blog. My hair always short and curly. Wonder if I could go shorter. Might be easier then curling iron every other day.
