A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

A First Shampoo

I thought that I would share....Joe wanted me to wash my hair with shampoo and get rid of the blood next to the incision. I have showered and rinsed it, but was afraid to rub it. Sooooo, I just washed my hair with baby shampoo for the first time. It felt so good. The little hairs spit water and shampoo all over the sink, when I rubbed it. It is growing fast. It feels like longish whiskers on a man's face. You know how guys are leaving some facial hair nowadays? Soon I will be able to spike it and be a rock star.

PS....We are going to a wedding on Friday. Look for a picture of me in my beret to be published soon. I told Joe that I ordered a beret. He said, "What color did you order, Balisha?" I said, "One of each!"

this morning I am doing some beading on my black beret. I cut a stretchy bracelet apart and now I'm going to sew...idividually...each bead to the beret.
I knew you would understand my buying all the colors.

Balisha, you have such a wonderfully cheerful attitude. I'm so glad you are feeling well enough to go to a wedding.

Why don't you treat yourself to a a really outrageous wig;)

I don't think that I want to wear a wig just yet. My incision is still not ready for one.I have a wig ordered. Will wear it to Joe's class reunion on the 12th of Oct.I showed it to my kids and they said, "Oh, Mom why didn't you get a red curly one? No one would know you."

Hi Marnie,
You don't know the poor me thoughts that go through my head during the early morning hours. I just have to snap out of it and carry on. It could be worse...I am so lucky it was benign.
