A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

What's Blooming on Tuesday

It's late in the day now...an addition to my post today...It is 92 degrees out. A little creature was looking for a cool spot to rest. He's under the grill cover...flat out. He's in the shade, but still near a food source. Click on the picture to be able to see him better. Isn't he cute?
Here are a few things that are blooming in my yard on this hot Tuesday in June. We are in for a sweltering day. Those crazy hens and chicks...you never know what they will look like. Kind of an ugly blossom, but here it is amongst the marigolds.

Lilys, lilys....I always seem to have a lily blooming. They don't last long, but are a very welcome spot of color in my yard.

One of my clematis vines sending out it's first bloom. She's hiding in amongst the sedum. A shy flower.

One of my hanging baskets. I have an idea for next year. Don't we gardeners always look to new ideas and next year?

Well, I've been out and weed whacked the edge of the woods. That's about it for me on this hot day. My arm is shaking, from holding that thing....guess this will be about it for today.

Balisha, your garden looks lovely. Love the hanging basket, those colors all look great together.

Isn't this heat awful. It takes the energy right out of me. I probably won't get much done until it lets up a little.

Hi Balisha, Every time I use a weed eater I get so shaky I can't pick up a glass of water for a while! Your flowers are so pretty and that hen and chicks is amazing. It is very hot and humid here, too.

Yes I had to click on the photo to tell what that was. Isn't he cute. He needed a bit of shade to cool off.
