A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

The Giant Coffee Cup

Here's the giant coffee cup all planted with moss roses and looking so pretty on our small deck table. This was a birthday gift in March. I couldn't decide what to plant in it and saw these moss roses at a garden center and thought they might look pretty in the cup. Our deck is very sunny, when we don't have the sunbrella down....so these little posies love it. I think that I may plant these in some other spots next year. There's that "next year" that we gardeners always say.

PS: I saw one of those dreaded Japanese Beetles last night....drats!

Your giant coffee cup is perfect and looks adorable on the little table. I like that birds nest spruce below, too. I will have to see if they are here.

The moss rose picks up all the colors of your cup. It looks so pretty. Robin of 'Life in Robins Nest ' collects cups planters. She is going to want yours ;-)

Love your coffee cup with the rose moss in it. I use to have some of the rose moss in my yard, but after several years it was all gone, and I have never gotten any more. Maybe I will have to try some more next year.

I like your new picture at the top, and that coffee cup is so sweet... I haven't had any moss rose in quite a few years. My father-in-law loved them... We have had no rain all week! One week we complain we have too much and now not enough... lol never satisfied I guess...

Oh I love those giant coffee cup planters. And the moss rose was a perfect addition to it's colorful patterns. :)

I probably never would have bought this, but my DIL has a different vision that I do. She has a creative eye and thought I could do something with it.

Love your planter, I have never heard those called moss roses but how appropriate. I have them everywhere this year, they were my experiment. Unfortunately the rabbits seem to love them also and are eating away on them.
