A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

I thought that I would show my latest watercolor painting. It's an undersea picture...I usually frame mine in inexpensive black frames from the $ store. If I do one that is spectacular...it would get a nice frame. I keep these frames handy, because they really make paintings look finished. This was a gift, so it is in a good frame. I haven't had much time since the holidays to do artwork. Today I am cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms and tomorrow we will take the last of the boxes of Christmas things down stairs. I have to pace myself...and this is the way to do it. Yesterday was spent bringing up the boxes and packing them all. I put stickers on all the boxes with 2008 on them. Next year we can just go to the storage area and not have to go through everything. After tomorrow my work area will be ready once again for me to "play" with my paints. I am going to take another painting class in Feb. I skipped the Jan. one because of the weather. Speaking of the weather...it is cold again this morning Negative 6...when we got up. The sun is shining, so it's not so bad. We have Mass tonight and I know that I shouldn't work on Sunday, but....my hubby said he would make a pot roast and that is all it took for me to think that I would finish up. Then we will be back to normal around here. The house will not be as colorful, but with a few houseplants and maybe a couple of new ones...I will be happy till spring. Wish the snow would disappear.

What a beautiful watercolor and the black frame really sets it off!

Hi Racquel...thanks for the nice comment. Are your paperwhites blooming yet? I looked this morning and it seems that they bloom almost in a matter of hours.. if conditions are right.
