A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

Now look what popped up in my small front yard garden. This fungus (?) was really big in the morning and then just small toadstools in the evening. Today it is gone completely. I remember seeing huge, I think they are called puffballs in Wisc. one time. We were looking at a house for sale and saw these huge things in the yard. We had never seen them before. They were white and the size of bowling balls. Mother Nature has some unusual things up her sleeve.
We got the yard cleaned up following the tree trimming. The woods are looking better. The huge limbs are gone. I went in there with the weed wacker and cut down some of the tall things. Most of the early flowers have gone to seed and I can't stand looking at this mess anymore. We mowed this morning...really a nice coolish day. Wouldn't it be nice if this could last till winter?

I have noticed this year that I have huge mushrooms in my yard and flower beds. Some of them are probably 8 inches across. I think it is scary how these things pop up in places.
