A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

He fell out of the tree.

We had the landscapers here yesterday. Hubby and I sat on the bench by the woods...and they went to work. The workers were hauling branches out of the woods and one man was climbing the trees to cut down the hanging limbs. He stepped on a dead branch, my hubby thought that he was too heavy...the branch broke and he fell out of the tree. I am not a good judge of height, but he was pretty far up. He fell on his chest. We all rushed to him and he caught his breath. My husband is a registered nurse and he looked at his chest and had him do some maneuvers checked his pulse and he had him take some deep breaths. He kept saying he was OK. We wanted him to go to be checked, but he wouldn't do it. He went back to work carrying the limbs and cleaning up. He wasn't really finished in the trees, but we wouldn't let him go up again. It looks just fine. We didn't want him to take a chance again. These guys do a lot of work in our neighborhood...we've used them several times before. They are wonderful workers and always leave the area so nice and tidy, when they are done. I hope he's OK. I said a little prayer for him at Church this morning.

That would of given me heart failure. I hope the poor man is okay. How lucky he was that your husband is a nurse and onhand.

We heard this morning that the workers were all at Burger King eating today. He must be OK.
