A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

I Haven't Been Honest With You...A Prayer Request

I haven't been completely honest with you. I  said that I was taking time off to work in the yard. I really didn't feel like opening up a family problem on the computer for all the world to see. But this morning, after a restless night I decided that my blog can be therapy in a way.....a way to get things off a person's mind. So, making a complete change...this is what has been going on.

My oldest son, Tim, is gravely ill. He is on life support in ICU . All of his organs have shut down and he is on a respirator and dialysis and several other life saving things are being done.He has several things wrong with him including  sepsis.... and this blood infection is the reason for his organs shutting down. We don't know where he got the infection....only that it is a difficult one to treat. They think that they have the right antibiotic. If the antibiotic doesn't kill the infection...his liver and kidneys will never recover.

This is so hard to write about. I feel like I'm talking about someone else. I don't know if I will continue blogging right now, or not. Maybe it will give me something to take my mind off things for a bit. So, this is why I changed my mind. When I look at the little map with all the people who read this everyday...I realize that there are probably so many people who don't comment...more than I even could comprehend. This is a wonderful place to make a prayer request. If hundreds or thousands of us pray....he may recover. I really believe in the power of prayer....

I have a little prayer to help you, if you aren't normally a person who prays. It goes like this: Heavenly Father, watch with us over Tim, and grant that he may be restored to that perfect health which is yours alone to give; through Jesus Christ our Lord..Amen

I know that I made the right decision about posting this and that you wonderful readers will help our family

Thank you all.....from,  Balisha and Joe...and Tim's wife and his brother and sister and so many other family members..
