Outside My Little Window by BalishaYesterday I had a choice...to meet with friends or to decline..
We hadn't been together for such a long, long, time.
A lunch was planned a week ago..the three of us could come..
And then the weather made us think.. we should postpone the fun.
We sat and waited for the snow...it started around noon..
It changed to rain and then back to snow... the roads were covered soon.
We made the right decision...a little voice we heard..
We listened to that little voice...that gave the gentle word.
"Just stay home...it's not your day to venture out for lunch"..
I'll say right now to that wee voice...for your message...thanks a bunch.
We'll meet again...when weather's better.. and make some plans anew..
And for today...we'll just stay home and enjoy the pretty view.
The snow outside our windows.. has made the world so bright..
Today when I look out.. I'll see a tapestry of white.

It was a lovely snow. It is so pretty when it sticks to everything. Good decision to stay home and not to be out sliding around.
Ah,Balisha, we are getting that lovely white right now.
I think you were wise to stay home and enoy the beautiful scenery.
It is pretty, I am with you, stay in! Better to watch it from that angle. Hitting here right now, we are to get 1-3 tonight but we have to pick up our guests at the school at 9 tonight so we will be out in the middle of it! The older I get, the more I dislike the driving in it.
